Classic Game Room – iREQUIEM for iPod review

Classic Game Room reviews iREQUIEM for iPod and iPhone, a 2D side scrolling horror survival game. iRequiem from Rapid Turtle Games is a bloody actionfest where you mangle the minions of Hell with a variety of weapons including crossbows, hammers, grenade launchers and flame throwers! Jump into the blender tractor or possess a ghoul to slaughter more ghouls, iRequiem is cool, entertaining and bloody hilarious. Simple touch screen controls make gameplay a breeze and campaign and survival modes of gameplay await you. Fans of Army of Darkness and Duke Nukem should enjoy the liberally “borrowed” one liners. This CGR review of iRequiem has gameplay from iRequiem on iPod Touch (also for iPhone) showing iRequiem 2D survival zombie, mutant and monster slaughtering.

@poliv67 Neither the PS2 or the PS3 have 128-bit processors. IBM Cell is a 64-bit processor just like any other modern processor, and the only reason the PS2 was marketed as a “128-bit console” was that it had a 128-bit memory bus, not 128-bit DWORD processing capabilities, which are two completely different things. PS2′s Emotion Engine is also a 64-bit processor (64-bit DWORD processing).
Besides, as of today, 128-bit processor microarchitectures still do not exist.

@Cryengine Aony is charging for extras but they refuse tocharge for online service. I think Microsoft could do with not being Nazi’s about x-box live… everytime I downgrade my subscription to silver I have to unplug my 360 just to use my saved game data made when it was a gold account…… it’s annoying .

@infringementMAN I don’t trust comparison video because PS3 fanboys will purpousfully make the 360 one look bad and vice versa with 360 fanboys.

IGN is the worst, they run the 360 with HDMI and ps3 with component when they do their comparison videos.

in most cases (with exception of mafia II and Bayonetta) they are identical…. I prefer the ps3 simply because I am on my third 360 and when this one breaks I still want to be able to play most of my games.

poliv67

@infringementMAN I know all about that…But can you spot those differences if you only play the PS3 version?

poliv67

@Bloodthr0e No he said in his sega genesis collection review that it was is favourite console.

@Cryengine Steam doesn’t charge for online…or for anything else…except games of course!

@poliv67 If you’re truly informed then you should know the problem when it comes to games released on multiple platforms. The 360 actually looks better since few would ever bother to maximize the PS3′s capabilities. Look around for comparisons, the PS3 looks worse when side by side with 360 on the same game.

@poliv67 And bits have nothing to do with colors, you’re crazy! It seems you have some mixed up information. The amount of colors that can be displayed also stopping being an issue after 16-bit days…now they all can display 16.7 million colors I believe. Even Wii.

Both consoles can do 1080P, however that puts too much strain on the GPU so most games are 720P or less on both.

Also you rant about 50 a year for Live, you do realize more than likely Sony will start charging for online soon?

@poliv67 Well poliv it looks like youve been schooled by lots of comments not just mine. So you’re probably starting to get the idea that you were wrong.

Anyways, once again wrong about the bits. But first, what processor are you referring too? I assume CPU? Both are 64 bit. Anyway again, bits stop mattering after the SNES. The bits that actually DO matter are the memory bus width, both are 128 bits there.

And umm, the 360 can definitely do 1080P. There are 1080P 360 games, NBA Street is one.

@tol1213 no the graphics are better on multi platformers but that is only because developers are too lazy to make them look better on ps3, that is ps3 exclusives look better then 360 exclusives but remember graphics don’t make the game
