They are`nt called Paramedics in the Navy they are called Corpsmen, and they deal with U.S. Marines, and U.S. Navy Seals, That`s usually what Divisons they get put in, and will be in battle situations.

You have to know your way around Ibuprofen. Lets see, there’s the 800miligrams and there’s the 400miligrams., also I think there’s a 1200miligrams. It’s a lot to take in but you’ll learn.

Better get more info. Nurses are officers and are recruited already trained from nursing school. Enlisted folks are known as hospital corpsmen and can be assigned to darn near any duty found in a hospital except doctors and nurses. Could be x-rays, pharmacy, sweeping the floor, or darn near anything else. Life is as variable as assignments. Could be part of 10 man medical department on a carrier, or a two person department on a smaller ship, or could be in a huge hospital or a tiny clinic.

The military does not train paramedics or nurses.
You mean you are gonna be a corpsman.
Thats EMT level training, not paramedic level training.
The job can entail anything from putting a band aid on a 3 yr old dependants boo boo,
To changing bed pans
To trying to save a wonded marines life
It all depends on where you get stationed and what your duty assignment is.
